Art Inc. – The Ethos

Art Inc. is an art consultancy that believes in seeking and finding art in everything around us, not limiting itself only to poetry on canvas but much beyond it.

At Art Inc. our endeavour is to bring the world of art to the doorstep of every art lover, from the fledgling art appreciator to the connoisseurs of art, by attempting to bridge the gap between the two by bringing forth the concept of ‘affordable’ art and by organizing various exhibitions with the sole ambition of inducting more and more people into the enchanting world of art.

We take up various arts related projects. Currently, we are consultants with GMR, Delhi International Airport. The airport’s vast collection of art is being maintained and restored by At Inc.

We are involved in the promotion of upcoming and emerging artists whose work, apart from being high quality, is affordable and holds good value for money for the collectors.

Besides promoting new and promising talent on the horizon of the Indian art world, ART INC. has also been sourcing works of senior artists for their ‘collector’ clientele.

We have been actively involved in philanthropic works in the art and culture arena. Part of our proceeds go towards “Dhwani’s Zaroorat”, an NGO working towards providing basic education together with performing arts at its residential school in Khanpur Extension, Delhi. It supports 81 children from EWS households.

We have established an art gallery to promote the artists in a more organised way, extending its reach to further shores.

Art Inc. was a brainchild of Renu Rana when she realised the talent and potential of artists who lacked a platform to bring their artworks to the public. Padmashri Keshav Malik, Niren Sengupta, ex principal Delhi College of Art and Dr Daljeet, HOD National Museum were her pillars of support throughout. She started promoting young artists from small towns, giving them moral and financial support. Now she organises exhibitions for them, giving the connoisseurs a taste of good art. She runs an art gallery in New Friends Colony, Delhi

She is a respected art critic, editor of CREATIVE MIND, an art magazine; and PREM SANDESH, a multi-lingual magazine. Through the former, she gives these very artists some more exposure.

She is the editor of “Raghogarh Paintings”, a National Museum publications authored by Professor P.C. Jain.

Renu Rana, herself a sculptor, has held successful exhibitions in Delhi and other places.

She is the art consultant with the DELHI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (GMR), having restored their vast collection of art works, including the famous Husain mural consisting of 42 canvases and the ‘Surya’ sculpture.

She is also making murals and Sculptures for Terminal-3 Delhi International Airport, the most recent being the ‘Ancient Indian Coins’ at the domestic/international transfer area. The ceremonial lounge has 4 murals, immensely appreciated by the VIP’s who frequent it. Mr. I.P. Rao, the CEO’s main office at the Delhi Udaan Bhawan boasts of two murals by her, besides others.

Renu Rana holds the distinction of curating the first digitised art show for the electronic giants, HITACHI. The art works were digitised and displayed on LCD and Plasma screens.

She is an art investment consultant, encouraging people to invest in unconventional vehicle like art. This benefits the collector as well as the artist. With the help of others from the same field, she also holds art appreciation workshops.

Other achievements:

  • She is a puppeteer, having trained under the tutelage of Shubha Saxena.
  • She joined NDTV as a puppeteer for their successful show ‘Gustakhi Maaf’
